At present, our focus is on growing our congregation. Two of our members are prayer line volunteers, and two are involved in a ministry that hosts encounter weekends throughout the year. If you have a passion for a ministry and join us, we will certainly seek to support you in it.
We have a relationship with the CEC churches in Uganda, Africa. We have helped them with pastoral development, building churches and schools, and distributing Bibles in the local language. We hope to continue and expand this ministry relationship.
The CEC presence in Sarasota has had a ministry to the homeless and persons with addictions. We would like to develop these again. As the CEC was birthed in the Prolife Movement, we would like to have members who would be involved in related ministries.
Our vision is to become a network of cell groups (small groups) that meet regularly for fellowship, study, prayer, support, and ministry. A cell group could be formed out of a ministry focus. All groups will join together weekly for vibrant worship.
