Fr. Jonathan brings a wealth of experience, faith, and a deep commitment to serving others to the King of Kings Charismatic Episcopal Church (CEC) community. Married to his loving wife, Cindi, for 47 years, they have raised two sons who have grown into great men. His educational journey includes studies at Asbury University and Asbury Theological Seminary, which paved the way for a life dedicated to ministry and teaching.
With a background in education, Fr. Jonathan taught high school math for 20 years before transitioning to over 30 years of pastoral ministry. His service has spanned Methodist, Mennonite, and now Charismatic Episcopal Church communities, including his meaningful work as a hospice and volunteer hospital chaplain.
Fr. Jonathan has lived in eight states and Jamaica, gaining rich experiences that deepen his ministry. His travels have taken him to Canada, Europe, Haiti, Jamaica, and Africa, broadening his perspective and passion for connecting with people across cultures. Outside of ministry, he enjoys hands-on projects, including building and remodeling homes, and currently resides on a one-acre farmlet where he gardens and cares for chickens and rabbits.
A dedicated member of the King of Kings CEC, Fr. Jonathan actively follows topics like politics and religion and serves as a volunteer on a prayer line. He also takes on part-time work repairing pavers, reflecting his commitment to both practical and spiritual service.
Fr. Jonathan looks forward to welcoming you to King of Kings CEC, sharing in your life experiences, and walking together in faith as part of this vibrant church family.
